A Management Team with a Strategic Vision

A Message from the Head of School: Nathalie Planas
Welcome to the Lycée Français International de Panama, a school within the AEFE network, which brings the language, culture and values of the French School to the heart of Panama.
Choosing the French school means choosing a humanist education that gives every student the means to develop critical thinking and curiosity, and to build their own path. It also means choosing a school that is open to the world, that values cultural and linguistic diversity, and that makes interculturality a genuine asset.
At the Lycée Français International de Panama, we guide each student toward success and independence in a caring environment. Our multilingual teaching, from kindergarten through the Baccalauréat, is fully part of this openness to the world and allows our students to grow in an environment where French, Spanish and English meet every day.
The diversity of our community is a strength on which we can rely to build a school that is both deeply rooted in Panama and fully part of an international educational network, the AEFE network.
It is in this spirit that I am taking on the leadership of our school, with a clear ambition: to help the Lycée Français International de Panama grow while remaining true to what defines its identity. I hope that together we will continue to pursue a dynamic of pedagogical excellence, drawing on training, innovation and trust, while strengthening everyone's sense of belonging to our school.
Trust, because it is essential to building a strong and committed community.
Belonging, because our school must be a place of which students, staff and families are proud, and of which each person can become an ambassador.
Educational excellence, because representing French education abroad commits us to offering every student an education that is ambitious, demanding, inclusive and open to the world.
I am delighted to begin this new adventure in Panama and, together with you, to write the next chapter in the history of our school.

Alix Coffy: Director of Preschool and Primary Education
With 12 years of experience in the French education system and 5 years as director in Iraq, Alix Coffy assumes the management of preschool and primary schools with an approach based on safety, stability and pedagogical innovation.
Its main axes of work are:
- Create a motivating and safe learning environment
- Strengthen communication with families and encourage their participation.
- Implement strategies to improve students' academic progression.
Adeline Jimenez : administrative and financial Director
Graduated from international trade school with an additional master's degree in Public Administration - State Services and 15 years of experience in education, Adeline Jimenez came to the position of Administrative and Financial Director of the LFIP in September 2025.
Before assuming this position, she was Manager of Educational Cooperation at IFAL (French Institute of Latin America) at the French Embassy in Mexico and Administrative and Financial Director of a secondary school in France, in Cherbourg.
Its main objectives are:
- Accompany and facilitate all Lyceum projects for the success of our students with a focus on pedagogical innovation
- Consolidate the financial situation of the LFIP, an international establishment of excellence with more than 700 students
- Strengthen the infrastructure and growth of the institution at the administrative and financial levels

Board of Directors: Financial and Administrative Management
In addition to the management team, the Board of Directors, composed of parents, plays a fundamental role in the administration of the Lyceum. Among their responsibilities are:
- Oversee the budget and financial resources.
- Define strategies for the growth and expansion of the Lyceum.
- Evaluate infrastructure and modernization projects

The management team works closely with teachers, administrative staff and families to ensure that the Lycée remains a benchmark in Panama.Its main responsibilities include:
- Implement updated teaching methodologies.
- Encourage the continuous training of teaching staff.
